ArchitectsJURY.com is a new site for students of architecture You can see/vote/comment on architecture-related computer images, upload your own renderings and get your work rated by other students. You can even store your whole portfolio, along with your bio, to get some exposure over the internet. Our aim with the site is to create a place that architects and architectural students can turn to for inspiration and feedback. Eventually, we will begin giving away prizes too. See you at ArchitectsJURY.com! |

2006 Fall semester ArchitectsJURY competition for architectural students This competition is the first of a series aimed at finding the best architectural student work. The ArchitectsJURY community will be judge and jury for any submission to the competition. Every image uploaded to ArchitectsJURY.com between 05/19/2006 and 12/03/2006 automatically enters the competition. Any architecture-related computer visualization qualifies, but the image must be the submitter’s own work. The prize is an 15.4-inch Apple MacBook Pro (courtesy of Apple) with 2.16 GHz Intel CoreDuo processor, 1 GB RAM and 100 GB hard drive. »»»»»»More details«««««« |

Your venture is very good. But you people are mixing two entirely different things together. Those are ‘architecture’ and it’s ‘representation’. www.architectsjury.com is more concerned about the presentation medias. Please don’t say computer generated images are architecture, and your award is for ‘architecture’. You may define it as an award of computer generated modeling or rendering. This is all about representing a design in a glamorous way through images rendered with computer. You are inspiring students to make their presentations glamorous and full of stunts. However people may now jump into computer to render spectacular images…. To grab the prize…. Busy days with 3dsMax or Sketch-up etc…. enjoy. |
